Quang Nam cancels three delayed projects

The central province of Quang Nam has revoked the licenses of three projects to build a golf course and two resorts as investors didn’t start construction as promised.

Sai Thanh International Joint Stock Corp planned to build its golf course on 100 hectares in Dien Ban Commune. For their parts, La Perla Hoi An – Dien Ban Ltd planned to build Hoi An III Resort in Dien Duong Village and Thang Hoa Ltd. was to build another one in Binh Minh Village.

Though these investors received licenses three years ago, they have failed to start construction because of financial problems and difficulties in site clearance.

To date, Quang Nam has licensed 33 tourism projects with a total area of 1065 hectares
Quang Nam said it would continue to inspect these projects and identify foot-dragging ones.
